I'm sorry I know we've won 25 straight but this year's poll is based on this year's results. and LSU has played more ranked teams and beat them no matter if we control who we play or not. I don't care if at week 11 in the season we are ranked 4. I care that at the end of conference championship week we are ranked in the top 4 and at the end of the season we are ranked 1

Bama could still be the 2nd best team. Clemson and Ohio state might be 9-1 right now had they played LSU.

Not saying I think Bama is actually #2, but losing to #1 shouldn't be some kind of concrete evidence that you dont belong in the top 4. I think Bama is out of the top 4 because their other opponents sucked, not because they lost to LSU.
