He led us to a national championship and I was so proud he was a Clemson Tiger.
Now, not only is he viewed as a monster who preyed on over a dozen women, he’s not a good quarterback anymore. Statistically one of the worst in the NFL this year. What a shame.

Honestly, he seemed too "full of himself" with the beginning situation in Houston. His reaction to not being included in the coaching search was Prima Dona-esqe. Led to him "demanding" a trade.....which leads to the folks in Houston not protecting/shielding his off the field actions....
Sitting out the year for the "trade", then the suspensions....then injuries...and, I don't think he cares anymore. Anyone that gets guaranteed money like he did, I'm sure the G.A.S. factor drops dramatically.

Despite my appreciation for what he did at Clemson, he’s proven himself to be a materialistic moron… when you’ve become in the public eye what he has, if you have two brain cells you lay low, put your head down and grind… if you follow his instagram, he’s nothing but high end designer brands, lux vacations… little to nothing about the game or getting better… he’s become a disgrace and that sucks

all the responses on here are correct, it is a combination of things, when i posted under a different handle on this board years back before he ever got suspended and was still with houston, i pointed out he seemed to have a penchant for show off type social media post that didn't sit well with me............i was told i was a hater and jealous........that was 5 years ago.

But what happened to him??? He met his current girlfriend and hasnt been the same since!!! And wont be...she did stick through him with the massage stuff though, im sure it was true love and had nothing to do with the contract!!! (post-Ford) than anyone. DW4 was skilled and fearless in his biggest college games and showed great promise as a rookie in Houston. Man, I was a big fan. Now he's a broken man. A broken player. And playing for a broken franchise (in large part because his broken body & spirit and large price tag continue to weigh down the mediocre Browns.)

The owner of the Houston Texans set out to ruin Watson‘s life.
He enlisted his dirtbag neighbor attorney. And together they’ve been pretty successful in taking Watson down.
I don’t believe Watson did anything that was not consensual sex. Seems he had way too many partners, but there’s no evidence that anything was not consensual. Criminal investigation showed no crime.
Wealthy NFL owner wanted to take him down so he did.

DW got scammed by a massage parlor who gladly took his money for whatever he wanted. It went public and the Houston Texans jumped all over the PR killing of a football player who went to a massage parlor.
And before you start with your high and mighty rant about going to a massage parlor - that was wrong and stupid. But lets not pretend that the whole ruse wasn't part of a deal to take DW and his contract with the Houston Texas down.

When watching him he looks lethargic. In college he was every bit as athletic and elusive as Lamar Jackson but when you watch them now Lamar still looks like that guy and Watson does not.

The off field stuff, go read the "civil" complaints... all from a single lawyer... it's all very contrived... clearly an extortion effort and the NFL wants their image to be women friendly, big bad rich NFL player...
As for his on field stuff, he's in an awful position, The Browns O-Line is terrible, not bad, terrible. And they are hurt all the time. Receivers are slow... they do not get out of their breaks and DW is getting pounded by D... the offense sucks scheme wise... when he has time he's fun...
I'm a Browns fan I've watched every snap... it's not him.
Here is an example from today:
1st and goal on the 2... offensive line false start
1st and goal on the 7 now... timeout, personnel issue
1st and goal on the 7 Watson flushed, sack
2d and goal on the 8... Pass dropped
3d and goal on the 8... Pass incomplete
4th and gaol on the 8 ... delay of game
4th and goal on the 12 ... FG
get the idea? 1st and goal on the 2...

Main thing he has going on from what I have noticed is he is determined not to be as mobile and he spends a lot of his time on his back with a porous OL. Maybe the worst OL in the league, and I’m not making excuses. Watch a game and you will see what I’m talking about.
