To me that just doesn't sound like much money to play pro sports, and he may never get on a full time MLB player roster.

No matter how much he was hyped by coaches as an amazing receiver.

Most people don’t make $500K. Good for him for chasing his dreams.

Will Taylor will be just fine. His best baseball is ahead of him! That said jk, you pitiful little person, you can’t miss a swipe at football. You do realize your idiotic jealousy drives people away from basketball and the love of your life Bb? Oh, by the way, your boy is still here because of Dabo’s LOYALTY to a friend!! Truth hurts!!

I just have to say this…. If judge kellers posts drive people away from Clemson basketball then that’s even more pathetic than his football trolling

So, selfishy you think he should've returned to Clemson to play baseabll AFTER he graduated rather than chase HIS dream to play professional baseball? What was your signing bonus from your first job? Just curious.

You are right though, that isn't that much money after taxes and aget fees, but still not a bad first job bonus paycheck. He still gets a salary.

He was overhyped from the get go.

Or he could keep playing college football

And never get a penny playing professional sports.

He is behind in his development but has promise. Btw $500K is quite a boost entering the rat race of life.

Good job Will. Great watching you at Dutch Fork High School!

money he signed for now is any better, or even as good, as it would have been for him coming out of high school. As he and his family said back then, everything isn't about money.

Wish him well and that he learns how to hit a curve/slider! Never reached his potential at Clemson due to knee injury.

I disagree. He hit .362 AFTER his knee injury…… he had the entire offseason healthy and focused on baseball. That’s all we heard in the off-season was watch out for will Taylor because he’s 100% focused on baseball and healthy…. He didn’t hit at all. I would put more of it on the mental side due to his grandfather passing….. physically he had no excuses this year. His OBP was good but that’s it
