Final shot from Amick?

In an interview in today's Greenwood paper (Index-Journal) , Amick said he wishes he could have played all 3 years at Tennessee. I know I will get a few "Who cares" but wanted to let all his defenders know what he said.

So do we. It would have opened a spot for a real Clemson man.

For him I think the saying would be: once an a-hole, always an a-hole.

He wouldnt have played all 3 years at UTjr

He only had 2 hits as a freshman at Clemson (albeit in only 9 games) and only batted .265 in summer ball. Clearly he needed to develop at least one year before he woulda been a starter. Had he started his career in Knoxville he woulda gotten his little feelings hurt just like he did at Clemson and ended up transferring somewhere like LSU for his last year.

And then he’d be saying “I wish I had played all 3 years in Baton Rouge”.

EXACTLY RIGHT. Whiners gonna whine!***

I think you’re exactly right, geech. I’m sorry about the personal comments I made earlier this week. I should not have done that, and I do value your input. We both love Clemson and we both love our country even though we may have different views.

I appreciate your bridge building and agree we can spend our time talking about our tigers, which we both wholeheartedly support. I apologize for any offense I made and and believe we want the best for our country; we just disagree on how best to achieve that goal.

Go tigers and god bless the USA!

We all wish his sorry ### Grandfather hadn’t procreated seeing that his father and him are equally as self absorbed. Glad to see the Greenwood newspaper gave him some press, that’s about how relevant he is in the state at this point.

Here’s to hoping the Amick family name never reads its head at our beloved institution again.

So he should move to Knoxville and correct the situation for his family members for generations to come.

Think Omax said the same about Marquette. Let em chase the $$s. We can endure the losses that would have made us better, but should do so with our eyes open.

Seems like this little situation worked itself out best for all involved.
Clemson doesn’t have to put up with him anymore.
He gets a natty and higher draft status.
Time to move on 👌
