SEC 2024 schedule - UF or SC

As a Nole fan, I have an interest in the Gator schedule. As a Clemson fan, and a frequent poster on this board, I have an interest in the coot schedule.
So, here are my questions. 1. Which school will have the worst record? 2. Which coach will be fired first, Beamer or Napier?
Here are the schedules.
Aug. 31 MIAMI Sept. 7 SAMFORD Sept. 14 TEXAS A&M Sept. 21 at Mississippi State Sept. 28 Open Date Oct. 5 CENTRAL FLORIDA Oct. 12 at Tennessee Oct. 19 KENTUCKY Oct. 26 Open Date Nov. 2 vs. Georgia (Jacksonville) Nov. 9 at Texas Nov. 16 LSU Nov. 23 OLE MISS Nov. 30 at Florida State
Look at those last 5 games. (They lost their last five this year.) I see a 4-8 or maybe 5-7 season for them. I could also see a 2-10 in there.
If Gators lose to Miami or UCF (don't even think about losing both of them, Billy) then they would be 2-4 with Kentucky coming to town. That game could be Napier having to win to keep his job. Otherwise he could be fired on October 20th as well. (Coaching change before the open date.)
Here is the coot schedule.
Aug. 31 OLD DOMINION Sept. 7 at Kentucky Sept. 14 LSU Sept. 21 AKRON Sept. 28 Open Date Oct. 5 OLE MISS Oct. 12 at Alabama Oct. 19 at Oklahoma Oct. 26 Open Date Nov. 2 TEXAS A&M Nov. 9 at Vanderbilt Nov. 16 MISSOURI Nov. 23 WOFFORD Nov. 30 at Clemson
I give them the edge over UF becasue they have a much easier 00C schedule (Old Dominion, Akron, Wofford). Other than Vandy, is there any SEC team they will not be an underdog to? Looks to me live 4-8 or 5-7 are in store for them as well.
I see a 2-5 (assuming they beat ODU) before an open date. Would that be a reasonble time to predict a coaching change? October 20.

They will have their hands full with ODU.
They still have nightmares playing App State and Citadel, ODU will be added to that list.

I think Napier is on the hot seat with a shorter leash. If he goes 5-7 or worse he is gone. Beamer can go 4-8 and retain his job. Florida has much higher expectations than usuc and Beamer bought at least 2 years with how much they improved his first two years.

I see 4-8 0r 5-7 for both schools. Coots for sure, UF may be able to reach 6-6 if lucky.

Expectations are a good bit higher at Florida...

compared to UofSC where they are accustomed to being a perennial doormat, so Napier is likely on a shorter leash.
That said, it looks like both teams will struggle to win four games.

Looks like 5-7 for both to me. South Carolina, will always win one game they shouldn’t, but it won’t be on the road. Barring an unlikely miracle turn around, Florida will be 5-7 as well. I say in that situation, Napier gets fired, and Beamer stays. Now, if Beamer only wins the gimme games and Vandy, he may be gone too.

and I think its an uphill battle for him to stay on. That schedule is BRUTAL. With that said, his buyout will ease his pain. He has never learned he isn't an OC.

It's nice to see Florida and Miami play each other again and should be played every year. I hate that UF will probably lose this game which will only encourage UF to going back to scheduling weaker non-cons again.

Both get fired on the way back from Clemson and Tallahassee respectively or Beamer gets fired at the beginning of November. I think Napier makes it trough the regular season at least

Based on results this far and what has been net loss of talent for both schools, I don't see either Napier or Beamer surviving next season. UF has a lot of pride and history. I don't know where they go from here. Scar is a different institution altogether. Unless they hit the jackpot with their next hire, they are in danger of being Vandy's basement dwelling roommate in perpetuity.
If Liberty starts hot again next year and Scar stumbles as expected, they better move early bc Chadwell will be untouchable for them once the other jobs open up.

UofSC schedule
Aug. 31 OLD DOMINION (toss up) Sept. 7 at Kentucky (L) Sept. 14 LSU (L) Sept. 21 AKRON (W) Sept. 28 Open Date Oct. 5 OLE MISS (L) Oct. 12 at Alabama (L) Oct. 19 at Oklahoma (L) Oct. 26 Open Date (Beamer Fired if 1 -7) Nov. 2 TEXAS A&M (right now toss up) Nov. 9 at Vanderbilt (W) Nov. 16 MISSOURI (L) Nov. 23 WOFFORD (W) Nov. 30 at Clemson (L)
I don't know enough about FL to predict but it appears if they win at home and beat the teams they should in the first 7 games of the season, Napier will be gone after the season or kept based on what happens the last 5 games.
