First off, Texas has the 4th most talented roster in the country.

I don’t know how anybody couldn’t expect a #12 team to win against a team that’s only 7 ranks ahead of them.

Quinn Ewers is not Lannoris Sellers.

Quinn Ewers is not Kevin Jennings.

He can’t escape

Quinn Ewers is going to feel the wrath of TJ Parker because he can’t get away

Quinn Ewers is shaky. Cade Klubnik is a truly better QB. He showed it in high school, and he showed it at the Elite 11 by winning.

Quinn Ewers will throw interceptions because he is shaky, and because he cannot get away from pressure.

Dabo Swinney has made the playoffs 7 times including this year. Dabo is 4-2 in CFP semifinals.

Dabo Swinney has been to a national championship 4 times. He is 2-2 in national title games.

Steve Sarkisian has been to the CFP once. He is 0-1 in semifinal games.

The difference in experience here holds value.

Cade’s mobility will be a nightmare for Texas.

If there is any coach who knows how to whip up a game plan focused on his QB killing the defense with his legs, it’s Dabo Swinney.

We’ve seen Sarkisian before. And we’ve beaten him. And we know his scheme.

I think some games go south and it’s totally because of the offense.

Against SCar, we’re up 14-7 in the 2nd half. Every drive we stalled out.

SMU, up 31-14 going into the 4th. From then the offense stalled.

Georgia in the opener was a 6-0 game at half. That truly is a blip on the radar and should be almost fully forgotten about. This is not that same team for crying out loud.

Commonality between SMU and SCar, we got conservative. For some God forsaken reason, we didn’t keep the gas pedal down like we should have.

You saw against SCar after Sellers scored, we drove down the field like there wasn’t a defense to play against. Everything ran perfectly.

And we would have beat SCar and SMU by 20+ points if we had not let up.

That, to me is the key. If you get a full 4-quarter aggressive game plan by Riley and Dabo, which is what we should see, I sincerely love our chances.

And yeah Louisville sucked.

Also against Louisville, we got conservative when we were down 26-7. We wasted time on purpose.

That won’t happen against anybody else, and that was mind boggling. But let’s just forget it.
