Clearly, this plus saying no to building a death star shows that he is trying to #### off the powerful star wars lobby

Yes, I do get upset when you call Obama Obummer, it really gets to me.
But speaking of funny things to see, watching republicans cry and cry about pretty much everything does provide me with a lot of entertainment.

They keep saying how smart he is but nothing he's done has worked and then he doesn't know how to make Republicans not view him with "little horns" on his head.
Pretty easy answer:
1) quit going around the country lying about them.
2) keep your end of your promise when you negotiated the debt ceiling last time.
Pretty simple to figure out if you're a genius.

saying your opponent is dumb...
Mar 1, 2013, 12:31 PM
|
|
especially when your opponent keeps beating you, is like chanting "overrated" in that it belittles your own performance... except in this case, you'd be chanting "overrated" at someone who's beating you silly. I think we can respect the man's intelligence, or at least his competence in convincing the country of whatever-he-damn-well-please, without agreeing with him or gushing about his intellectual abilities.

Plus I've never said he was dumb, just those whilo voted for him.
I've just asked for proof that he is smarter than everyone else. Very different thing.
I know he can talk well and has a huge advantage by not having a media that questions anything be says. It's like Duke and ACC officials

people with 4.0 averages who didn't know their head from a hole in the ground. some are book smart, some have common sense, some have street sense. clearly he has enough intellectual capacity to get where he is. i just don't think he has enough of that street/common sense. and he clearly doesn't have people skills sufficient to hide his narcissism.

then how is he so popular, despite his policies?
Mar 1, 2013, 1:55 PM

Frankly, he seems like a political genius to me, and I oppose nearly everything he stands for. It's rare for somebody's policies to be so unpopular while they continue to gain popularity. What I fear is that his personal popularity will flow downstream to his rather less popular progressive policies.

people like tboi. but i agree with you that he (or those around him) are politically brilliant. they have made the pubs looks stupid for the past 5 years. but i don't think he has any idea what he's doing beyond the game of politics. he knows how to impress the easily impressed and he knows how to play the political game. beyond that, not much to be impressed with.

housing is soaring, manufacturing has picked back up and most Americans will have health insurance. The unemployment is still high but its getting better.. The PUBS had left our economy in ditch. Obama has saved the American economy...

You believe everything you read. Because you lack the means to interpret you are left, sadly, with no other choice. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
