Oh yes those Trump chilren grew up in a Christian home in NYC where they went to church every week, blessed their meals and had bible study weekly 🙄. Does anyone really believe this? I mean except the cultists. Just pandering to the base. After last Saturday they may be believing in divine intervention.

That’s not really the point…everyone should be free to worship as they see fit…but exactly how is this ‘our children will love God’ thing supposed to work? We gonna start teaching the Bible in schools (Oklahoma says hi), posting biblical passages all over the walls of our schools (LA says hello)? That doesn’t sound to me like what the founding fathers had in mind.

I have to give DJT credit for exposing the conservative Christian population as being mostly FOS and exposing their "beliefs and values" as nothing but hot air and lip service. It's really laughable and they will never be able recover.

First, it felt very much like he was pandering to the base. And using God's name to do that is disgusting.
And second, you can't make children - or anyone - love God. As a Christian, I feel that government cannot and should not push God on anyone.

And I think it's dangerous to assume.
However, I certainly agree that judging them on their fruits, it's hard to imagine that they have a real personal relationship with Jesus.
