Clemson receiver Sammy Watkins was not included on the Biletnikoff Award preseason watch list for the nation's best WR before the season started. Watkins was once again not included on the updated list this week.

I got an email from the Biletnikoff Award Committee of the Tallahassee Quarterback Foundation this morning, informing me that “eight players have distinguished themselves as receivers several games into the young football season and merit inclusion on the watch list” for the award.
