Former Clemson defensive tackle DeJuan Polk (1999-2003) has been hired by the Jacksonville Jaguars to be their new assistant director of pro personnel.

"I had the pleasure of working with DeJuan in Atlanta from 2008-2012 and know firsthand what he can bring to an organization,” GM David Caldwell said in a statement. "As a former player and coach, he has a unique eye for talent and will be a valuable asset for our personnel department."

Polk had spent the last ten seasons with the Atlanta Falcons in various jobs including pro personnel assistant, college scout, director of pro scouting and pro personnel coordinator.

He was a 4-year letterman at Clemson.
