at 7-22, they beat Arkansas Little Rock tonight, who was 27-3... and had played themselves into contention for an at-large spot.

Brutal

That is the same position Woofford was in last year. Wofford was like 26-6 going into the SOCON tournament last year and knew we had to win the title to go dancing.

The bracket got cleared out by upsets and we only played the 9 seed, the 4 seed and then the 10 seeded Purple People for the title

We had beaten Furman 2 weeks earlier by 30 but Furman played tough and we almost lost

Could have finished 28-7 and been in the NIT.....The entire season is irrelevant at the this level. Comes down to 3 games in Asheville in 72 hours.

Tough life.

FIRST NCAAT appearance since 1979 ! They got an OFFENSIVE, put up 160 points IN ONE GAME ! (editors note, DIV III but still ...............)

Why not ? Putting the ball in the basket ? I would think putting the ball in the basket would work at ANY level ... little league through the NBA

Because it is poor basketball and any good team would slow down the game and would be more efficient than you.

The fact that you think that is good basketball really says a lot abuot your knowledge of the sport.
