It wasn't Venables or Morris or Dabo or Swofford or Brad Scott or the offense or the defense or any of that.

Obviously (now, after the SEC bowl struggles) we just didn't care about USuCk after dominating them for so many years. The game had lost it's luster for us and we had nothing to prove. Understandably, we had our sights on loftier goals, and really didn't want to be there; it just didn't matter. THEY just didn't matter. It's just what happens when you are that good for that long. After whooping up on LSU, a team that beat the coots, it's obvious that we have Clemson speed and Clemson toughness, and a certain mystique that the SEC can't handle when we DO care.
