To me it looks like an epidemic in college baseball and it seems to come from guys who look like roidheads mostly. If these little b&$#?*@ want to hit or fight somebody go play football. Umps need to start tossing dudes - oh wait that only applies to our best player in a regional.

I agree with you completely! I just posted a new topic on taunting. I read the NCAA rules and you’re supposed to be ejected. He was obnoxious and there’s no telling what he was saying as he went after each player on each base as he ran the bases and included our bench and our coach so the hell with him and the umpires should have ejected him. Yet, we had the freaking announcers on there saying well boy he sure has fired up our team.

At the end of the UGA game in extra innings about 6 of their players were yelling, pointing and spitting in the direction of our outfielders as they ran off the field.

We know there’s a rule because Cam got tossed in the regional against the Vols. Sometimes the umps show too little restraint, other times not enough.

No doubt one way to stop trash talking is to win the game.

But no team is going to win every game. Even the most almighty will lose a game once in a while. When that happens, does it make sense for players to act like trash?

This is a subjective topic. Players are allowed to act like trash players and are allowed to not act like trash. It is their choice.

Players can carry themselves with class or without class.

But karma is a #####.
