even though Tech had better overall athletes.

As such they gave us a better game imho in that they, QB and receivers maybe exposed some weaknesses we need to correct.

I'm inclined to question whether Furman has any interest in advancing that creed recently, or in a good while...

Totally agree. I really was impressed with how Furman played. Much better than any other previous time I've seen them play Clemson--their players looked much better as well (bigger, stronger, more speed, etc.). I think playing them this year will help us immensely before we hit our ACC competition!

FU's QB was a Sr and it showed

plus, with a short week, I'm not sure how much time the Tigers D spent on FU's offense. I mean playing Monday night, very short week of practice, walk through on Friday. I don't think we took FU very seriously. It showed.

The game looked like it could have been interesting in the 2Q. Second half looked very bland with lots of substitutions on both sides. I wished Cade could have gotten a few more series.

Furman came to play, we were on cruise control, especially the second half.
