Watching these other bowl games

makes me furious. Compared to these other teams we looked inept. We actually looked like most teams look in September, certainly not after a full season at the end of December!
I really don't like to second guess coaches but what the hell is up with play calling inside the red zone? It's as though someone thinks you should run screens to the left and then right and try to gain 8 yards on 3rd down up the middle.
The problem is not that we missed 3 field goals, it's that we had to attempt field goals after running all over their #####.
I was excited to see what Klubnic could do with this team but now I'm not so excited for next season. Recall FSU coming back against us because we get a lead and suddenly look stupid on offense.
I don't have a stake in this program but I have been a fan for 49 years. I will be there win or lose but I hope that these issues can be addressed in the off-season. If not, I have no other choice but to believe Tony Elliot, Jeff Scott and Brent Venables are responsible for our successes thus far.

a football genius on the field and making O or D calls..

but seems he has been involved with O calls a lot this year..especially with his colored menu sheet.

I agree Bill, he seems to be making some questionable decisions. However, I do love Dabo and think he will learn from this and make it right.

I love Clemson more than Dabo. I’m getting the feeling Dabo is making this more about him than the team or the School. I don’t see this ending well

Yeah, Dabo has been real involved with his Waffle House menu he carries around. Seems to get bigger each year but with DJ we only had about 2 pass plays (the bubble screen & the 50/50 outside jumper). Wish a reporter would press him about how much he's calling or overriding plays...but we'll really never, ever know for sure.

I've said it before we are well behind top programs after watching bowl games .with the talent i think we have, it's the coaching

But I like the upside of our true Freshman QB. It is what it is. We need to improve greatly on the O-line and WR. If Ngata comes back, then I think he'll have a chance to be late 1st round or early 2nd with a strong COVID year. Here's to 2023!
