To change the subject, have your Humming Birds left?

Ours in SAV seem to have stopped using our sugar juice hanging feeders on last day of Summer which is unreal in that they know the calendar and seasonal change.
GF#1 says they fly over to the Gulf coast side and beyond but I’m thinking Key West or the Bahamas for a little relaxation and some margarita juice.
Seriously, have your tiny Helicopter Birds left?
We already miss watching & feeding ours since we had even named them.

I saw a hummer up here in the north country on friday. He looked like he had his suitcase packed for a one way flight to mexico.

Funny to see this poast. I literally just finished making some sugar water for them. We have 4 feeders and about 5 or 6 hummingbirds still hanging around.

...and she has flower designs on her cup. One came up and tried to drink from the painted flowers on her cup!
Other than that, they are still having hummingbird wars at the feeder.

Haven't seen that name mentioned in a while. Lived my first five years at 1309 East Washington near the entrance.

Haven't seen one all season. Next door neighbor told me over a month ago she's seen a couple near my feeder, but that's it. Am wondering if the bird flu has had a severe impact on the population. Saw comments a few months ago it has affected the wild birds more than in the past.
