What’s the scouting report on these guys? Looks like they are playing a lot better ball now than earlier in the year.

Same as us...Pitching is their huge issue but they can flat out hit. They are led by true freshman CF Drew Burress and that kid can just outright play...Hits, runs, and throws...Def a 5 tool player and one hell of a prospect. He will be fun to watch this weekend...

They have 2 guys in double digits in home runs..One being Burress (17) and the other catcher Matthew Ellis (11). They have a pesky 1B Cam Jones...He doesnt hit for much power at all but he can hit and steal some bags...He will be a pest if hes on the base paths.

Their starting pitching has just been outright awful. Its hard to pinpoint what their rotation will be this weekend because they mix it up alot...However, we will see Cam Jones start on the mound and he has an ERA in the mid 4s...Also, Adam Finateri will start a game and he too sports an era in the mid 4s.

Bullpen wise they have two legit arms down there in Carson Ballard, who may even get pushed to start a game, and Michael Kovala...But true to college baseball fashion these guys walk alot and can be touched up a bit.

Our bats should be able to have a fun and comfortable weekend vs this GT pitching staff. Like I said above, they dont have much power aside from 2 guys but DK does play small some weekends. We should sweep them but we definitely should take 2 of 3. Nuetralize the true freshman Drew Burress and they are not in good shape.

Good breakdown. Go figure, sweep nc state, then get swept by unc and bc. Win uva series, won Miami series. But like you said, had some headscratcher games early on like losing to Cornell. Uga beat them twice.

They can score with the best of them. Their pitching is questionable at best. Expect another high scoring series
