I vote a resounding yes! They are nothing but an embarrassment and add nothing in terms of TV markets since we have 3 other ACC schools in NC.

But maybe the NCAA will crack down on them since they have the biggest academic scandal involving lack of institutional control in the history of the NCAA

You're probably right. The SEC has already proven they don't mind taking embarrassing universities into their flock.
Example: 1991, SEC settles for Scar as a member.

Has been ongoing for decades...think Dean Smith was NOT a part of this culture? Of course he was and Roy has picked right up from where Smith & Guthrie left off. And then you have Butch Davis and that regime that carried on; however, the criminals he had on the FB team got greedy and kept getting in legal troubles, along with basketball players, that finally exposed it all. THERE IS ADEQUATE, documented info, to close the University; won't ever happen. UNC-CH & BOG are too busy attempting to keep NCSU and ECU down, trickling their leftover $$ down and supervising us. IF the Heels go down, NCSU and ECU WILL BE SHUT DOWN as part of their plan. You do realize, basketball players were living in a house Roy owned in the Chapel Hill area???

But if you kick out UNC,then you have the possibility of Duke
just walking out.And then what do you have?
You have the only ACC school to win the NCAA Final Four
besides the holes leaving.
I mean,scandal,or no scandal,we all know the ACC
is the premiere basketball conference.
