Would Dabo turn down a raise?

(Not sure how old you are, but inflation was over 12% in 1974 and it wasn't like a war in Europe was causing it - the economy was simply a mess (in the late '70s we had both high inflation and high unemployment). The OPEC enbargo doubled the price of gas in 1973 - that was the biggest triggering event. But the Federal Reserve does a much better job now than it did in the '70s. Point being, people who think things are bad now... are probably mostly younger than me! And they don't notice that our inflation is (for the most part) lower than Western Europe's.)
