We have been making some great half-time adjustments, particularly on defense. I am hoping we don't have to wait until half-time to make needed adjustments. We need to be able to make the changes "on the fly." I believe our players will make the adjustments whenever, based on the defensive or offensive calls. Our coaches need to address the necessary changes earlier.
For those of you who say our team is responding to an @$$ chewing at half-time, I don't believe that is the case, but the coaches know the truth. If an @$$ chewing is needed, do it before the game starts, so that we will come our with an edge in the first half.
Agreed, make adjustments when needed and not just keep doing the same things that aren’t working until the half. When the offense or defense has the ball, the other side is on the bench or sidelines - coach them up when needed in making those adjustments.
I know it is frustrating to wait till half for changes, but coaches can talk to each other and gameplan better plus players are calmer and listen better in the locker room. Just sayin...
