Apparently there were some big transfer issues during her tenure

At Utah State. Along with some complaints from gymnasts about treatment.
Just some stuff I have seen by gymnastic people. (Have no idea if they are credible, just a quick scan)

Well then, gymnastics as you know is a rough sport that takes precise execution. Tear them down and build them back up.

Outstanding credentials. Welcome to Tigertown Amy.
Hope I don't offend you or anyone else but the aesthetics alone are worth packing LJ... And for the PC crowd, nothing wrong with calling a beautiful lady, a beautiful lady. Does anyone else think she reminds you of Sam Ponder a wee bit.
And yes, I know the rulz. Just don't know how to post it.

Thank you kind Sir !!!! Both have what I was only able to dream about. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I do indeed think she'll have Coach Rittman esq success. It certainly seems like a lot of Clemson sports are trending upward. Was tweeting with Kat and she rooms with Sam Buyckx on tennis team. Both programs played very young talent and seem to be recruiting really well.
Proof tbd but me thinks both M and W bball are trending positive.

I feel like in this era he will be made to be referred to as Ritt-person as a male coaching a women's sport.

Bring back the swim program
Apr 26, 2022, 12:02 PM
|
|
The only other swim program in the state is usc. C of C scrapped their program shortly after clemson scrapped theirs. Pretty sure both schools still have facilities that just sit there empty now. Basically no options for in state kids these days unless they can get on usc team. It’s a super popular sport all across south carolina. We have a history of producing high level talent. If Clemson can have gymnastics and softball, they ought to be able to have swimming. Let’s go. Be a top 20 public university. Serve kids in South Carolina. Get the swim program going again.

Nah just a guy who grew up swimming in sc and coached a ton of year round and summer league kids. Clemson not having a team just isn’t good for the sport and doesn’t really seem in the spirit of a public university. It’s sad

Here is to hoping that Amy Smith can build Clemson into a Gymnastics power house like Suzanne Yoculan did at the University of Georgia and the Lady Gym Dogs
