That was the biggest choke in all my years watching....

Jan 26, 2019, 4:10 PM

Clemson basketball. That was amazingly awful. I have never seen a bigger choke than that it any college basketball game ever. I am literally in shock.

Go back and watch the 2007 Clemson -Boston College football game basically same coach and same result. Finding a way to lose in a can’t lose situation

No other word for it

Best FT shooter in school history missing 4 straight inside the last 20 seconds. Instead of a possible season changing win, it's a season killing loss.

There was a game against Illinois in the OP days where we were up 20ish at the half, and still lost.

That was a painful game to attend.

Jan 26, 2019, 4:15 PM

We have choked big leads, but this was rare air for an end of a game in such a short period with it in the bag.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I saw a 5 point lead erased in less than 24 seconds vs

Jan 26, 2019, 4:24 PM

Maryland, Len Bias stole the ball twice under the basket and they hit a last second shot for the W

I wasn't old enough to care. I was probably 9 years old living in California. I can just go by what I witnessed.

This choke was with such a short amount of time left with so many opportunities to ice it on offense and to not screw it up on D. There were so many screw ups and opportunities in such a short period. I have watched Clemson basketball religiously since 1994 and this for me equals the top. There are games where we blew big leads etc etc, but this was a unique one.
