Thanks TigerNet for the reminder why

I seldom log in after a basketball or football loss. So many posts from doomsday folks who probably called in to WCCP during the week predicting scores of the game saying Clemson would win by 3 TDs or the score would be in the range of 38 to 28 or something else so far from reality that it shows how much the callers knew about either team involved. And then all that knowledge is shown again with their postgame critique of why everything didn't work the way it should have.

I expected a close game but lose because your OC is calling the same plays and no
running game. I am no coach but TE is dated same plays over and over no creativity
We have better Wr's imo but they know the plays before the ball was snapped.

Seldom logging in results in seldom getting replies.

Success in life does not require getting replies on TigerNet because it is more fun just letting the uninformed know they can be wrong and we can lose games. Nobody wins every game.

Well, the emergency unemployment benefits have ended and some of those callers may be looking for jobs. Those jobs won't be coaching football.

Is it crazy how people start using this site during football season to start talking about football.

You nailed it. The last few losses to LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio St, and now Georgia. People are on here predicting blowout wins and then ready to fire all the staff. I personally thought Clemson would lose by 2-3 touchdowns going into this game. Defense was solid but their o line did control our d line somewhat at times. I have never been a fan of Elliots play calling to much . It’s very predictable and Scott was the mastermind behind it when he was here. The O line is never going to progress while Caldwell is here for another 3-5 seasons IMO. But a lot of Clemson fans are spoiled and don’t remember the crappy years. If didn’t grow up being a Clemson fan since the 70s, I would definitely hate Clemson because of some of the fan base. I don’t even listen to the local sports station anymore because of it. Gamecock Wills in orange.

I guess people need something to talk about. Note the ESPN “end of a dynasty” article. But no one has any idea who will make the playoffs right now. It’s all so ridiculous. I’ll think I’ll spend the rest of my day doing something productive like cutting the grass.

Truth is, no one, not even the experts of experts, knows the future of a ball game such as this one. See: Clemson over Bama a couple of years back - a back yard spanking. Few persons called this either. Predictions will always be going on, and are just part of the fun and all the talk. Who really could've foretold that "Clemson will win the turnover margin battle, hold Ga to no touchdowns, and lose the game." No one. Let fans be fans and leave them alone. You've done the same as them.
