Not getting a new QB, WR's, new OL in October. Doesn't help having NFL talent missing all over the defense tonight or half our WR's out. 14 scholarship players missed the game tonight.

I have 0 fault on the defense, but the offense has allot

more wrong with it than inexperience. DJ has started 8 games now and looks no better than the start of the season. Don't know what all is wrong with that offense but it goes beyond just breaking in me players.

If not for a missed FG (Syracuse) and a fumble (BC)...

the defense very well could have cost us 2 more losses. If not for a GREAT play by Skalski against GT, it could have been 3 losses.

Not recognizing the oc has been an issue for 3 years because he does not have dual threat generational talent at QB covering up his play calling is the reason we are where we are. That and not recruited the right type of QB for our system.

The OC has not been the issue for 3 years.

In 2019, we were the 5th best offense in America and played LSU for the national championship. In that game, we had 400 yards but LSU had 628 yards. Nobody was stopping them that year, and our offense was not the reason we lost the game. We finished #2 in America, due in large part to our offense.
In 2020, we were the 10th best offense and the 6th best passing offense in the country. We made the playoffs for the 6th straight year, in spite of a poor OL, because of a prolific passing game. In the semi-final of the playoffs we had 450 yards, but Ohio State had 639 yards. Their QB threw for almost 400 yards, he was nearly 80%, and he had 6 TD passes. They added another 250 yards on the ground for another TD. Once again, the offense was not the reason we lost the game. We finished #4 in the country, again due in large part to our offense.
In both of those seasons we finished in the top 4 of the country. Offense was not the reason we lost either playoff game. An inability to stop the other team is why we lost both of those games.

That loss was on the offense.
If they'd played better than a C game we could have won.
The defense was stuffing LSU initially but the offenses stopped producing and the defense wore out.

I didn't realize we were so depleted. This understanding does help explain things..
Assuming this is a primary cause of our lackluster play, it is not crazy to expect this year's challenges will pay significant benefits in the coming seasons.

8 games now and he just looks bad. The most inexperienced are the RB's and they look better than the rest of the offense

himself for small games then 3 and 6 to set up pass to Ross, who is tripled team. All the last 4 games were like that with one loss and almost 3 others. Whoever is calling those plays near end of game need to be replaced as play caller.

So what’s the problem?

With what Coach stated. D is strong. Special teams above average but O is just not in sync. So the coaches and players have to take each game one at a time and figure out how to get a W even if it is on a defensive safety 2-0. Not every year is a championship year but every game is an opportunity to improve and build towards another run at the mountain top.

HE seems to think all coaching staffs are created equal. Clemson has the most expensive coaching staff in college football. Y'All can draw your own conclusions about whether Dabo's attitude reflects the pay he's getting (which happens to be almost more than Syracuse's entire staff).
