A part of college football, and sports in general, died the day Mike Leach passed. He’ll always be one of my favorites. The man gave no efs, which is why everyone loved him. My favorite Mike Leach quote turned out to be one of his last.

“I’ll get in trouble for this, I’m certain, but we’re, you know, instead of playing hard, getting a first down and getting a play, you want to sit behind a shade tree, eat a fish sandwich and drink a lemonade with your fat little girlfriend”.

Also, if you haven’t seen the video of him explaining how you kill every mascot in the PAC 12, I highly recommend it.
