Yeah, that one's been in the works for awhile.

Not exactly new. Heck, Houston Nutt did it at Arkansas with Gus Malzahn back in the day to get Mitch Mustain...ended up using neither Malzahn's offense nor keeping Mustain, and of course ended up fired, as guys that dishonest and frankly stupid do, but he did actually sign Mustain with those tactics. And everybody knows Hugh Freeze got his big break when he delivered "The Blind Side" Michael Oher to Ole Miss...how that one ends is still TBA.

Harbaugh just looks like he's being more systematic about it, and pushing the lines there as he does every other line in the rulebook.

I get the sense a whole lot of "Harbaugh clauses" are going to find their way into the NCAA rulebook before it's done, but in the meantime it is technically still legal even though the optics of it are shady to pretty much everybody.

Houston Nutt didn't get fired at Arkansas, he left for Ole Miss..

That coach they hired is really Gary's daddy. Come to think of it, I can see the resemblance

This one makes some sense. The kid has already signed, the dad was a very good NFL safety. I suspect he knew Harbaugh from NFL days. I have no problem with this hire.
