Matt Bockhorst, Braden Galloway injury updates
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney spoke to the media following his team's 27-17 road loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday. Swinney shared during the presser that offensive guard Matt Bockhorst tore his ACL during the contest. "Bockhorst tore his ACL and it just breaks your heart," he said. Just being honest…

Bockhorst is ?? and his collegiate career was almost over. Put the freshman in for the rest of the year in prep for next season.
Galloway had a ton of potential but sadly, went downhill, fast. Briningstool (freshman) is a better TE, ffs.
The season is a wash. Get Cade Klubnik in and ready to compete ASAP - find a competent backup this time. Replace Caldwell. Demote Elliot. Bring in a competent OC and WR coach. Justyn Ross has clearly given up. The other WRs look like cheeks. Get a new slot receiver. Start prepping LEADERS on the field instead of waiting for them to develop.
Rant over.

These are young men. Bockhurst may not have been the player you’d like him to be but to call him garbage is offensive on every level. He’sa young man that did all he was capable of to make this team better. You should be ashamed of yourself. Seriously. It’s been a tough season. Things happen. It’s heartbreaking to look at DJ and know he’s done? He’s so lost? Why? He went from being considered a heisman candidate and potential first rounder to a kid that threw a puck six on a shovel pass?? Will Shipley isn’t the guy we were led to believe he is. He isn’t explosive like Travis was. How many times does he break through the line and go down woth an ankle tackle? Yesterday he had a sure touchdown on the ground and fell over the turf monster? Then a couple plays later dj throws a pick. Would’ve been up 7-0, then we score next possession would’ve been up 14-0. Then Shipley drops a TD pass that could’ve been the play that turns dj season? Would’ve put us up 21-0? Instead we only score seven. Give up 14 in the last three minutes. And the defense started strong then looked exhausted by midway through the second quarter? Why? I hope Clemson remembers the smart ### comments Narduzzi made after. Never liked that jerk off and I’ll look forward to seeing his team get it handed to them in the acc championship game.

“Offensive” Lmao.
It’s a violent sport. You obviously took a wrong turn on your way to the Huff Post. And Bockhorst is trash. Getting pushed around by a three man front isn’t what most would call “capable”….and he’s been doing that for the last 2 years.

Awfully strong comment calling Bockhorst garbage. What if people said the same thing about you when you played? Oh yeah, you wouldn't know because you didn't.... We have to remember these are kids being led by coaches that have apparently lost their way and have yet to own it. To call a player garbage is immature and sounds like whining.

No. It’s just an honest assessment based off of historical evidence.
