I'm probably alone here...

but I don't think Utah, Baylor and TCU are in the top 4 teams in the country. Watching these schools play in the west is like watching Arena football. I do believe that the selection committee will still have some guilt for leaving out one of those teams last year.
My top 4 (in no order)would be
Alabama LSU Clemson Ohio State
I don't care if these teams have one or two losses and I don't care who they've played, I just think they're the best teams I've seen play so far this year.

if you can stop the run you can pretty much shut them down. BC-Alabama might end in a 0-0 tie.

Same here. If Coker doesn't have the run to lean on he'll get desperate and just throw up balls that turn into easy picks. That goes for their other quarterbacks as well.

Find someone that will beat them

TCU has "struggled" this year more than either Baylor or Utah. Do you think that Bama, LSU, Clemson or Ohio St could slow Baylor down? Bama's DBs would be begging for oxygen by the 2nd possession. Baylor doesn't give a rip about Bama's size. The only way to slow them down is to keep your offense ON the field.
Utah is good, but looks "beatable."

They may be the best teams you have watched, but either LSU or Alabama are not going to make the playoffs as they have to face off against each other. I personally think Alabama will win, LSU is very run-oriented and run defense is where Alabama lives.

Yeah Baylor has a good offense, but they are in the Big 12, where only offense lives, no defense. Imho they stumble against any D with a pulse....TCU will lose to baylor, Ohio St will lose to Michigan, and Michigan State. The team we need to be watching is Iowa....possibly undefeated into the B1GCG. My top 4 is LSU, BAMA, CLEMSON, BAYLOR. I know only one if any SEC gets into the playoff. Really hoping for ole Mi$$ to win the west, that'd throw a wrench in it all

work all year.
Alabama lost AT HOME or a terrible Ole Miss team that is spiraling.
That alone takes them out of the op 4 unless every single other team also loses one. Are they the best one loss team? Maybe so if they win the SEC Championship, but right now who cares.

Only the teams with a legit D are worthy

Sure, you have to have an offense that can score and make drives, but without a legitimate D, the O matters not.

I think Baylor is a top 4 team. I agree about TCU. LSU is a one trick pony. Oho State has looked sketchy. I think Bama deserves the top 4 as well, as you stated. I think we obviously are top 4 as well.
