restaurant about 5 hours before the game. We sat and talked for about 10 minutes. He asked me why I chose Clemson, seemed really intersted about our school.

I was sitting in the endzone (student section) during the game and saw the flags flying after the play he hit Bauman, but I couldn't tell what had happended. I didn't know until the next morning from the news on the radio.

I was at a party a few weeks after school started back for the spring semester, and Charlie Bauman was there. He was telling everybody he didn't even know Hayes had hit him until Jonathan Brooks (our DE) told him.

One ironic twist, Charlie Bauman was from Ohio.
