Another reason why the GOP is a numbers problem

It’s already been estimated that Trump lost in 2020 because of Covid deaths. The Georgia numbers alone support this.
As of this week, about 1,800 Americans a day are dying of Covid; the C.D.C. expects that number to rise above 2,600. Virtually all are adults. If 95 percent were unvaccinated and we assume that 75 percent of those were Trump supporters, that’s 1,300 to 1,900 of his voters being subtracted from the rolls every single day.
Donald Trump lost Arizona by a mere 10,000 votes. He lost Georgia by 12,000, He lost Wisconsin by 21,000. He lost Nevada by 33,000. Right now, about 60 Arizonans, 36 Georgians, 34 Wisconsinites and 14 Nevadans are dying of Covid each day. Seventy five percent of 95 percent of that would be minus 103 Trump voters per day — just in those four swing states. Week after week. That adds up.

Catahoula® should report this post to the mods. This post is celebrating deaths of American citizens for political gain.

Ummm not celebrating death for political gain.
We had a discussion earlier about why the GOP is a declining party. This fits into the discussion as part of the narrative.
It’s stating facts.
I mean, there is a way to stop this. There is a way to end the death cult. Getting vaccinated is the path.
But yes go ahead and report me. Sorry for trying to impart some facts on you

Yes in the early days, Covid deaths impacted bluer states harder. And too your point yes there were a significant amount of deaths reported by probable dem voters in the early days
But the stats in this article are talking about recent trends today due to delta and omicron. Not alpha.
And I hate to break it to you but FL has more deaths than NY. And both TX and FL are barely behind CA in total deaths despite having 2/3rds the population. In addition roughly 70% of NY deaths came from the initial surge in the spring of 2020. It’s been relatively flat since.
Anyway, I’d read the article fully before making comments.

Sigh.
The point of the article is deaths of vaccinated and unvaccinated people in swing states. The unvaccinated by a wide majority now are older white gop voters. So you pivoted to say LOOK AT NY.
Ok. In NY unvaccinated people are >4x more likely to die than vaccinated people. The majority of these unvaccinated people are moving toward older whites who, in this case, mostly trump voters. I believe that over 90% of white dems in NY are vaccinated versus something like 65% gop voters.
So in GA of reported deaths, approximately 85% are unvaccinated and thus the vast majority of those are likely supporters of the GOP. Literally the base is hurting itself needlessly.

I agree. Liberals have the house, senate, White House, and the majority of the country.
But, voter suppression, racism, cops hunting down blacks, climate change, poverty, terrible schools, and Covid still exist; and seem to be getting worse.
How can that be? How can libs dominate every facet of government and the population, have giant brains and be full of compassion, yet fix nothing? How UK, how?

It’s almost like we built a big beautiful wall and immigration is STILL a problem! How could that be? I mean I thought it was supposed to stop all those bad people trying to take over America ….

You don't have to climb it. The bottoms of the bollards are getting cut, pried open, and popping back into place.

Trump's wall would have had the latest in video monitoring, as well as the latest technical supplements to augment the wall. It will work!
Why is Biden continuing to build Trump's wall? I'll wait.

This crap wall was $20+ million a mile. Yep, brilliant idea for how we can increase the deficit. Wonder how many tunnels are currently under it also?

UKtiger’s numbers are correct.
Desantis (or whatever his name is) is the biggest culprit. He has fostered the declining number of GOP voters as much as any individual has. And he’s in a nailbiter swing state. Self inflicted. Can’t make this up. LOL.
