Dabo NFL

Just a curious question, how well do you think Dabo would do professionally?

I think it is a level that is not an option for him personally. I could one day see high school, like Daniel or something.

But I feel like his approach would work. Yes, you have trading players and drafting players and paying them, but it is way less prominent compared to 220 team college football with teams like FSU who lose tons of players every year. And then have to replace them with unknown and uncertain players.

Besides, Dabo does not have to worry about the financial aspect. That is for a whole GM and that system of authority to control, and it’s out of his hands to someone that does want to deal with money in football.

I feel that the more regulated trade activity and the worry-free of money mindset would allow Dabo to actually build a culture in a locker room.

No chance of this to clarify, just interesting.

he focused on building the best staff he could and fostering a good locker room.

He'd lose it as soon as he started trying to call plays instead of the OC, IMO.

Given Dabo is at least a top-15 coach of all time, I’d say he’s a little different than the usual college coach to leave after one championship where they were carried by their QB (Chip Kelly).

Pete Carrol probably is the best.

Recruiting wouldn’t be a possible strongsuit, but that ability Dabo has to bring a team to one goal together is phenomenal. And I feel that Dabo can do that with any group of men that need leadership.

Could imagine him on a similar...

trajectory as Tom Coughlin, best case scenario. Which w/ an AFC title game w/ the exp Jags & 2 SB rings w/ NYGs is a HOF career despite his personality-TC: qbs coach at BC jumps to HC finds success, nowhere near to the extent CDS has achieved but enough to jump to the League as Jacksonville's inaugural HC—(spent time as an asst under Parcells w/ NYGs, ignore that and very similar on the surface)

No, I could see an administration job or his own business. He does not need the NFL money or aggravation. Church or public speaking could be options too.
