The universities and athletes deserve what they get if they allow that to happen.

College football doesn’t need the NCAA.

College football, with the way it’s going, will need to be its entity. Use the current NCAA rule book, but add in portal, NIL, and playoff rules and guardrails.

If it is going to survive, it will have to look like the NFL in every way. Admit that it is a semi-pro Football League and operate like one.
