They have us coming in at #12.

I didn't realize that Cagle is the last of the POY candidates still playing. That should bode well for her! I'm guessing she'd rather have a shot at the WCWS, but still - would be a heckuvan honor for her and Clemson.

A lot a good that does sticking it to Clemson facing the #1 seed at this point. Ugay jumping from 14 to 5 is a head scratcher. The fix is in.

For the last month all the announcers tried to say is she had to make it to the college world series to win the award. The other finalist had terrible regionals, Wallace from Florida 4-13, 4 strike outs and 2 walks), Brady for UCLA 1-6, Valerie went 5-7, 8 walks, 4 RBI's, 1 HR, then pitched and went 2-1 on the mound giving up 3ER's in 17 innings pitched. If she doesn't win the award then it is completely rigged.
Total season she has a better batting Average than eith of them. Tied with Wallace for HR's at 19, LEads the nation on total basses and one of the top ERA in the nation.

A good outing against OK would probably put her over the top, even if we don't beat them.
