My step-father and huge Tiger fan passed today

I feel incredibly grateful to have had Ron in my life. After my parents divorced during my early childhood, my mom met Ron, who became more than just a stepfather to me. For over 30 years, he was a true father figure. Though he had no biological children of his own before marrying my mom, he embraced me as his son—a feeling that was absolutely mutual.

Ron was a deeply religious man, but it was a quiet, heartfelt faith, not something he ever flaunted.

He passed away at the young age of 64. It seems that the best are often taken from us too soon. My heart is shattered by this loss.
