It's hard to gauge these things nowadays for bowl games but Rutgers does have a very good coach

The conference affiliation has nothing to do with why those teams have sucked. Those teams have sucked and have in turn diminished the conference and also bled Clemson and to a lesser extent fsu of money. The only way the acc survives of any standing is to create a merit based revenue sharing based on tv viewership. I’m ok if you accumulate all the sports and don’t just use football but we all know the driver.

The ACC has been a joke in football for the last 10 years. Literally clemson and a bunch if teams that would have losing records in the sec or big 10. Its why football season is either playoff or bust each and every year for clemson. The regular season has been lame.

I’m no conference homer (though ask the sec inbreds, it pays to be!) however, the acc has been the best conference in CFB (not every year but within the last 10). You wouldn’t know it though. And probably couldn’t guess.
What year in the last 10 was the ACC the best conference in all of college football?
Not a trick question.
The problem is not the quality of the conference. The problem is the narrative and $$$.
Any guesses to the year the acc was best?

Serious question....why is Brownell such an inferior coach to Dabo? I mean the records, coaching accolades and championships are so one sided it's kind of embarrassing.

Uhhhh what? Do you think the ACC has been a quality football conference in the past 10 years?
Who has been the second best ACC team in the last 10 years? I would love to hear.

What conference has the 2nd most national championships in the last 10 seasons?

This isn’t a trick question. The SEC obviously leads, but who’s second? Hint: the only other conference to win any was the Big 10, with one national championship in the last 10 seasons.

Who is the second best team in the ACC over the lst 10 years?
The ACC has been Clemson who is a power house, and nobody else. Every other team has been trash.

This has nothing to do with clemson. 1 team doesnt make a conference great. Who is the ACC's second best team in the last 10 years?

While in the Big East, Miami used to beat doormat Rutgers 70-0 .. Fartbomb was throwing stones at the ACC for their bowl performances (NC, Miami, Sillyexcuse). Not an NC State fan and Doeren would make a Priest kick out a stained glass window but .. unsure if to pull for NC State to ease the ACC embarrassment or KState to watch Dumbren squirm..

Before Rutgers got in the B10, most of that talent went elsewheee. Now Rutgers that Rutgers is in the B10, that same talent now takes a serious look at Rutgers, since Rutgers is now perceived as. “Big Time”. Look who is in the B10, look who they play. It’s as simple as that.

Nothing to do with conference affiliation.
That’s not to say the ACC has been tearing things up in bowl season, but this anomaly Rutgers data proves nothing about conferences.
