Actually I agree with that.

At least if you're looking at any game on their schedule to make comparisons against. I think Clemson has more weapons on offense than Tennessee but think Tennessee has a better offensive line.
I also think that if Tennessee had any defense they could have won the SEC East this year. Tennessee lost by 7 at UGA, 3 at SCU, and self destructed in the 4th quarter at home against Florida.

+ 1. They got blown out by Bama, but that's the only game they haven't been in in the 4th.

They have a really good O-line as far as pass protection

goes, run blocking isn't too shabby. They only ran for 97 total yards Saturday but they had Marlin Lane (was committed to us) running the ball.
Their defense statistically is much worse than ours though.
104th in the nation giving up 33.9 points per game vs. 51st giving up 24.3 ppg for us.
We also pass for more yards per game, rush for more yards per game, and score more points per game than Tennessee does.
But let's not let facts come into a conversation with the coots.

Here's Miss St's schedule: Jackson St. Auburn @ Troy South Alabama @ Kentucky Tennessee Middle Tennessee @ Alabama
With that schedule we have the same record as them. And they are only scoring 33 a game vs. our 41, and giving up 17.3 vs. our 24.3, you honestly think Miss. St. is better than us?

I agree on Bama, Florida, Georgia, and USuCk, but not even close on Miss. St.
Not to mention we have scored what 37+ points in 7 straight games? That's hard to do no matter who you play against.

Therefore by that logic you imply that the polls are absolute, correct, and bias free.
Clemson is being killed in the computer polls even though Miss. St. played their first team that has a winning record this past weekend and they were ranked 11th.
I never said the polls were right. They are biased as hell and based on nonsense if I'm being honest.
That being said you play who you play and you can't control that.

based on who they have played how do you begin to compare them? I listed the teams they played and as I've said, besides Bama all the teams they played are .500 or worse.

Tigger you lost him man. He's not saying Miss State is better than Clemson. He's comparing the teams UT played against teams that Clemson has played. And UT has played better opponents, that's why the stats are as they are. I guess that's what he meant.

have played the same opponents. I think we are similar to Tenn and their record would be much better playing our schedule. I think we have more weapons, but they probably blocked Clowney better than we can.

You have to remember that SC only beat them by 3 so that automatically means Tennessee is nationally relevant just like Vandy.

If by better version you mean 1. both teams play football 2. Both teams wear uniforms 3. Clemson's Orange is far better 4. thats where I run out of comparisons

Our WRs are better but Tennessee has some really good WRs and a great QB.
Both offensive tackles for Tennessee are going to play on Sunday.
Tennessee has not been able to stop anyone.

Tennessee probably has the worst pass defense in the country. I watched them play against Alabama and South Carolina and their scheme is terrible. They play the safeties too deep and they cannot react to a pass in their area. Their linebackers are slow in pass coverage and they would not have a chance against Clemson. The game would be high scoring, but Clemson's defense would manage to stop them enough to out score them.
