I saw during the bowl KY had Andru Phillips from Mauldin. That's 3 D1 athletes, with Lukus and Caldwell(UNC). I attended our last home game against Woodmont and witnessed a winless season. I'm not sure I've seen that in my lifetime. i'm 36. Have you?

Just wondering, our Mavericks seemed to have it going and then BOOM. Nothing.

Any hidden talent or what happened? thanks

and that is reflected in some of his coaching hires including the football coach he just hired (Andre Cook, the former head coach at Airport). Cook was only at Airport one year and posted a record of 2-8.

Another example, in 2022 Mauldin won the state championship in women's volleyball. At the end of the season, the AD fired the coach because HE didn't get along with her. Val Toms had built one of the top volleyball programs in the upstate and was replaced because of a personality conflict.

Actually saw KG play for Mauldin. Looked like a blade of grass but you could see the talent and athleticism. Then he took his talents to Chicago. Oh, well I went to Hillcrest so made me happy.
