Yes, next season is the last. That is why PJ would have had chance to come back, and why Chase will most likely come back...

I wouldn’t worry too much about that happening. I guess it’s possible but I would think highly unlikely another novel virus emerges so soon. And if it did I’m hopeful we would have learned a few lessons.
