Being the coach at USF located in Tampa, I'm sure he was very familiar with all the local talent (particularly the ones at WR). It wouldn't shock me if he slipped a note to Grisham and Dabo and said that this is "the guy" despite where he was ranked by all the scouts. Now he was a 4 star so he certainly wasn't an unknown. However, it wouldn't shock me if he was higher on our WR board than most other schools because of the inside tip.
