Regardless of what the rankings show. This Clemson team has played at another level the last 3 weeks. Beating a top 15 notre dame team and a top 20 North Carolina team. And beating a team that beat NC. GT who had a hot offense coming in. But it’s ok that we aren’t ranked take care of business beating the coots preferably by double digits. And win the bowl and we will finish ranked and start next season ranked.

We may be playing at a Top 25 level but records count so we will not be ranked at least now but I have no idea how Tennessee is ranked with 4 losses.

I was gonna say this. Of course it’s only the coaches poll, not sure if Tenn stays in the AP but I would love a repeat of that matchup this year. I think we could take Tenn

Top 15 teams don’t start games like Clemson did yesterday. Without the lucky breaks the Tigers are down 21-0 .

Without a season of unlucky breaks, we're probably 10-1.
The breaks (good and bad) are always part of the game.

offense needs some continual improvement - score 25 or more -

Defense gave 28 to duke with some gimmes - NC St and FSU got 24 in regulation, ND 23 - Mia had 17

Defense really only gave up 17 vs FSU and NCSU....offense gave up 7 (at least) in each of those games.

The defense did all they could do all year and were excellent. The main let down for the D was the 4th quarter against Miami. They did not get the job done with a reasonable lead in that game against a backup QB and got run over.

Looking back, the Miami game is the one game that bothers me the most. Duke was really good when healthy. We played well against FSU and lost a tough one. We all know it's difficult in Raleigh. But Miami is not very good. At all. And we were coming off a bye.

Looking forward to a 8-4 finish and a decent bowl.
