How many Coots did y'all run into at the Orange Bowl?

Me...we had a fella parked across our tailgate sitting there by himself in a lawn chair drinking a beer. He had a red shirt on and I assumed he was an Okie fan. My girlfriend walked over to talk to him while I was setting up the tailgate. When I got a chance I walked over to be friendly. As soon as I got close enough I could see in VERY TINY words emblazoned on his t-shirt the logo "South Carolina Gamecocks".
Seriously, you had to be within three feet of the guy to see the little logo. He was a nice enough guy but of course I had to ask him two things: (1) Couldn't you find a t-shirt with a larger Cootalina logo, (2) So what brings you our way...come to see THE University of South Carolina play? His only response was that he and the misses wanted a short vacation and decided to head south and figured they might as well take in a bowl game. Despite wearing a reddish shirt he said he was pulling for Clemson. Personally, I think he was full of coot dung but at least he was pleasant.
When we got our tailgate all set up with food and beverage several of us over the course of our tailgate went over to his lawn chair and invited him over for food and beer. Every time his response was "I can't because my wife is bi-polar...ESPECIALLY when she's been drinking". I never did see the wife at the back of the car by the lawn chair. She was always in the front car seat drinking. I just assumed she probably couldn't stand Clemson folk but at least we tried to extend the olive branch to them.
When we got back to our tailgate after the game he was long gone. I assume he led the procession of Okies out the stadium at the end of the third quarter as coots are experts at that.

Clemson. Never checked.
The didn't shy away from being Gamecocks. I got no problem with it.
There were easily a dozen hurricane fans around me. Same thing. No problem.

One guy that was with his Clemson family member in front of us at the stadium. The guy wore a blue fishing shirt, had a Gamecock koozie around his drink that sat in the cup holder most of the time, but was cheering for Clemson.

My wife and I took our two little ones (5 & 3).
When we saw the first big group of OU fans, my little one said, "daddy, gamecocks!"
