The Military academies do not offer athletic scholarships so they are not bound by the 85 scholarships. The only way to get into them are by military appointment on academics. GO Tigers.

Have to go through similar vetting and are for the most part legitimate candidates. However, I will say a coach from many years back would over promise kids that they would play. There were a lot of kids that came thinking they were going to play football and then didn't. Some of them left some of them went on to graduate and serve. They don't get the quality players that some do Bc of difficulty going pro etc but don't feel too sorry for them, there are loopholes that they can take advantage of. There are still weight standards etc but that can be waived to a certain extent
