Dabo didn’t hesitate give Trevor a shot when Bryant stumbled

Is Pommachan healthy? Of course circumstances were different then. Face it. DJ is stumbling now. As I recall Trevor was inserted for a predetermined time. Rotationed. Could deal DJ a kick in his confidence. Could light a fire under DJ’s hindquarters. Either way we could end up with a more functional QB. To a greater or lesser degree, as the QB goes so goes the team. Especially here at Clempzon.
Oh, and by the way - I’m in a monoclonal antibody study and CAN’T get the jab for a year. I’ve gone from Untouchable to hero and I’m off the hook with the mandates. I get an exemption card to carry in my wallet. All legal, open and aboveboard. So, don’t tell me that not getting the Fauci Ouchi means I don’t care for my loved ones. I care about the whole human race! And I’m prepared to “virtue signal” loud and long. Maybe even get fitted with a halo. Saint Anthony and me - - we’re a team.

TP does not give us the best opportunity to win. Plain and simple!

The sad thing is DJ is our best and only option. DJ will get better but will never be a TL or DW. It’s up to the Coaches to realize this and get creative. Find a game plan the suits DJ’s style.

Thinking the coaches are still not totally sure of Taisun’s Achilles recovery. I think he will only see emergency or mop-up duty for a few more weeks.
I hope we actually create some mop-up duty.

going to be a big difference from Bryant. Pommachan likely not a big difference from DJU. And let's face it, Pommachan is not Lawrence. So it is really comparing apples to oranges.

Not expecting him Pommachan to be TL, but would like to see how he reacts when the O-line protection falters. Gotta be able to improvise better than DJ and same for bootlegs and option plays. Dj was pathetic on the 2 time we tried. Too slow and lacks deception and determination. He telegraphs everything. With O-line faltering, we need a dual threat QB to emerge, and Dabo & TE either can't see that or have no confidence in TPommachan or they truly think his isn't ready from injury standpoint. If the latter is the case, is Hunter Helms next man up???

If this was 2022, we probably would have seen Klubnik a couple times but it's not and DJ is the best QB on the team.

Can we really say he is the best when the other have not been given prime time game action? It would be ashamed the only way we see a back-up is for DJ to get hurt and then the backup comes in to save the day and wins the starting job from DJ. I mean what's the difference between DJ going 3 & out and the backup going 3&out? Just look at Russell Wilson who left NC State for Wisconsin because he wasn't getting to play.

Yeah let’s turn the offense over to a guy who had a major Achilles surgery. Do we even know if TP has the mobility to avoid the inevitable pass rush from our offensive line? Unbelievable.

That is determined at practice - no on the field.

Otherwise a healthy Taisun is certainly the better alternative when a mobile QB is needed. As for passing, hard to believe that TP could be any worse. It looks like we’re stuck this season.
Still might be good to give Taisun (or even the bottom of the QB room chart) a series, to demonstrate to the fans just how totally eff’d our offense is this season.

Bryant's worst was 100 times better than what we have now. Dude ended his career throwing 67% and 2-1 to ratio. He was a qb and gamer. Lawrence was just the better talent. Not sure what to even call DJ now.

The difference between benching KB for TL, and today DJ vs TP is the fear of a "portal" repeat. DJ's got his NIL bucks and can wait/train for 3-4 months in sunny Cally while he waits for a Pro-Style college team to grab him where he will shine.

We benched KB for TL.....are we saying TP is better than DJU?
How would any of us know how he is doing after the injury....really? A drive against SC State? The spring game before he got hurt?
Give it a rest folks....if TP was better than DJU, he would be playing.

I tore my Achilles playing basketball and it took over a year to get to 90%. It never fully recovered. Of course, I’m old, but still I wouldn’t think TP is 100% yet.
