Oh I'm not heartbroken because he's going to a bad system. I'm heartbroken because I'm s Giants fan and find it near impossible to cheer for anyone on the Patriots. I'm happy for CJ, hope he shines bright in every game (other than the ones against the Giants). lol

The guy who turned Sproles into a star at New Orleans just cut Spiller. The fact is, Spiller was beaten out by Travis Cadet for the "Sproles" role in the Saints offense. I hope the best for C.J., but simply changing teams probably isn't going to fix the problem.

Spiller would have a great chance to show his stuff as the Patriots pass catching RB before Dion Lewis comes back from injury in week 9/10
James White looked good last week, but Spiller brings a whole different set of skills

I had always thought CJ would go from Buffalo to the Pats.
This is very low-risk for New England, and they will use him very well. He can run routes off what Gronk does and create all sorts of problems.
