He won't even get drafted. I can see why the OL underperforms. They have a serious case of overconfidence in themselves. He can't even block Tennessee, how is he ever going to block in the NFL?

He deserves it, had a great career. I think he'll do well at the next level. Hopefully Tristan Leigh has a breakout Spring and can take over at a Tackle position...hate to miss on a 5* OL.

Time for Pennington to step up and earn the accolades Dabo hoisted on him in 2021. Won't be surprised if Sewell grabs a spot as a true freshman. Experienced grad transfer wouldn't be bad either.

How do you not love this guy? He is the best!

I know we have and have had a lot of great guys play for Clemson, but none are better than McFadden. Not a single one!
Impressed with his character and his love for his teammates and coaches. He didn’t quit on his team. He wants this one last ride with them.
Why can’t others be like him? And I’m not just talking about Clemson players who “opt out”. I’m talking about any player on any team who “opts out” of their last game. If you are injured, I get it. But just because you plan to go pro? If you are so worried about injury then why play the next to the last game either? Where do you draw the line with that line of thinking?
To me it is a character flaw to quit on your team like that. Thankfully, Clemson has more like McFadden than like TN’s wide receiver and linebacker. The NFL should strongly consider the character of these quitters before giving them a high draft pick. I wouldn’t have them on my team.

He was a good guy. Good for hanging in there. I know his draft grades haven't been great, but I hope some NFL team gives him a chance. I think he could be a really good guard in the League.
