Beamer and staff hiring

Coot boards are always fun when they are in meltdown mode...which is more often than not.

Today Coot fans are lamenting that Beamer only hires unproven guys, and then goes too easy on them.

But what is he supposed to do? When hired he claimed he had a long list of accomplished coaches wanting to work for him...but then he had a hard time filling his staff, and even had some jump ship right after signing on.

The fact is Beamer is stuck with whatever he can get, and he can't afford to run any staff off. Because no one wants to work for an unproven kid who is in over his head.

Every team should wish for a "rival" like ours!

makes all the assistant coaching staff hires, and Beamer is doing "the best he can" with them. Doesn't make a lick of sense, but it sure is fun to watch the collective meltdown

The reality is he panicked when Dabo hired Riley and then Beamer made a really poor knee jerk reaction for himself...
