According to the “experts” projecting basketball brackets

This will be the first time in history that the regular season ACC Champion will be left out of the NCAA tournament.
This after beating almost everyone above them in the ACC net ranking and ACC standings.

Don't be fooled into reading what you believe, it's not a good look.

Actually, I don't agree the "experts" believe the regular season ACC Champion will be left out of the NCAA tournament, because they don't believe Clemson will be the "ACC Champion." The "experts" don't think the Tigers will be able to win enough games on their remaining schedule to become the reigning "ACC Champion." Unfortunately, I happen to agree with them--I definitely continue to cheer my Tigers on, & I hope I'm wrong in my opinion.

However, the fact is the Tigers face several strong ACC teams that they have not played yet. Furthermore, most of these games are being played on the road. And unfortunately, I am not convinced that all the starters who are returning from injuries have fully recovered yet--or that the Tigers will be able avoid other injuries over the rest of their schedule. Additionally, while I have been encouraged by the potential of several of our young bench players, I don't think they are experienced or talented enough at this stage to overcome the above challenges.

Again, I'm hopeful my opinion is wrong. However, I think the "experts" agree with me (& probably have other reservations about the Tigers). Again, I don't believe the "experts" are implying the ACC Champion won't be in the NCAA tournament. They just don't believe Clemson will the ACC Champion, or that they will be in the NCAA tournament. I happen to agree the Tigers aren't strong enough to overcome their remaining challenges to become the ACC Champion. However, I disagree with experts because I do believe Clemson will have a strong enough record to play in the NCAA tournament (although probably not as a very high seed).

Hopefully, I'm wrong about the Tigers not being ACC Champions. Also, I hope I'm wrong about the Tigers not being a high seed in the NCAA tournament. Go Tigers!
