Clemson wide receiver commit Amari Rogers scored four touchdowns to lead Catholic to a dominating 45-20 victory over powerhouse Belfry (Ky.) at Hollin Field on Friday night.
On his 17th birthday, Rodgers had eight receptions for 251 yards, including touchdowns of 52,35,82, and 12 yards. Rodgers won the Class 4A Mr. Football Back of the Year as a junior with 2511 all-purpose yards and scored 31 total touchdowns including 1600 receiving yards with 23 receiving touchdowns, two punt returns for touchdowns, two kickoff return touchdowns, three rushing touchdowns and an interception return for a touchdown.
