Blog Schedule Change

Dear Tigers,

I hope everyone is well and will have a safe trip to and from the spring game tomorrow. I ask your patience for the blog today for a couple of reasons. Dan Scott had to go to Winston-Salem today for the baseball game for the broadcast and Aly, Roy and I were asked to guest host his show from 9-12 this morning. I returned home and wrote the usual Friday E-Mail Bag blog and 90% of the questions were about the anticipation of the AARC release today. As I was about to post it I received the e-mail on the official release. I think it would be inappropriate to post it now because the university has released their changes.

I have read the 346-word document the University sent out and like many I still have questions. I think it would be totally inappropriate to comment on most of the findings until we gather more information. Tommy Bowden just released a statement. Terry Don Phillips and Dori Helms are holding a press conference in the McFadden building at 2:30 PM this afternoon.

Therefore, I will not publish the e-mail segment today. In my opinion it has become obsolete now that the report has been issued. Also I think it would be pre-mature to write a blog on the new policies until we gather more information. Like many of you, I will go to the spring game tomorrow. After I will begin the process of gathering more information and will release a new blog either this weekend or on Monday.

Please understand that any reaction now might be unfair to either side. I apologize for the schedule change and look forward to more of your feedback next week. Again, please have a safe trip to and from Clemson tomorrow.
