They throw you into coverage, get you concussions, then cut you.
Football's a cutthroat business.
God's got you, Hunter. Come play for a contender.

You are talking about one of the best asst coaching hires Dabo could find. Would not surprise me if Dabo and Hunter haven't already been talking. I think sitting on a couple of NFL teams benches the next couple of years just isn't Hunter's style. God Bless him.

WADR, what makes you think HR would be a good assistant coach? I think we learned when Luke replaced Austin, hiring an assistant with zero coaching experience is a bad idea. If we want to be an elite program, we must hire elite coaches, not OJT candidates. If/when HR is finished playing and IF he wants to coach, I hope he starts out at a smaller school and builds his resume before being hired as an assistant coach at CU. Of course, getting his start as an analyst them moving to a small school as a coach would also be a valid option. Given HR is one of my favs, I hope him success no matter what path he chooses.

HR has said that he always does his own thing as a receiver.
Repetitive running of routes and drills never did anything for him but he did them in practice because it was required.
My concern would be that people who do things from natural ability usually can't teach those skills to other people because they are innate not developed.

Nobody cares about Renfrow more than me and his family, but he has No No No coaching experience, and that program has already been tried at Clemson and failed. It probably caused longtime friends to become an acquaintances for Dabo and them.

Third and Renfrow will be able to pick his next destination. He'll have plenty of options.

The NFL has some stunningly bad decision makers. BUT it also has some savvy ones as well and I am sure they are licking their chops at picking up Renfrow.

Please let him go to Jacksonville!! Honestly though, I could see him going to New Orleans to reunite with Derek Carr.

It would present a squeaky clean image to the team.... unfortunately.
*** Note- I say unfortunately because I can't stand the Dallas Cowboys.

Jerry Jones is an idiot and players can’t wait to get out of there. I hope Renfrow goes elsewhere

If I were in the very same situation as Renfrow, I would take my millions and live a comfortable life running my own business without having anything to do with the NFL!!!

They are cooking up some good stuff there and need a receiver with GRIT.

As much as I’d love to see him in Jax, Christian Kirk is their main slot guy now, with also Ridley if he stays.
For Renfrow to get a ring and back to the pro bowl, go sign with KC. Can you imagine him and Kelce? That would be super glue all over the short and intermediate routes!
